When will I get my pieces back? Why does it take so long?

Clay takes time to dry completely before it can be fired. If moisture remains trapped inside the clay, it can turn to steam in the kiln and damage the piece and crack. Depending on the size and thickness of your creation, the drying process may take several weeks.

Once your piece is ready, we'll give you a text to return and glaze it.

Glazing adds color and makes your pottery shiny, food-safe, and ready to use.

We aim to have your finished pieces ready for pickup within approximately 4 weeks. Due to drying times, firing schedules, and studio volume, this process may occasionally take longer.
