Our Story

Hi, I'm Aimee, and my husband and I own That Pottery Place.

Originally from England, I moved to Pittsburgh to be with my husband. I combined my backgrounds in Fine Art and Education to create a welcoming studio where everyone can be creative.

What started as a job at a local pottery studio quickly became something much more. After working at the studio, my husband and I had the opportunity to purchase the business and continue its story as That Pottery Place.

Since then, we've expanded beyond pottery painting to offer glass fusing, canvas painting, clay handbuilding, pottery wheel lessons, camps, classes, and private events.

My goal has always been simple: to create a place where families, friends, and artists of all ages can relax, have fun, and create something they're proud of.
